Each subscription card has buttons:
| Button | What happens |
|---|---|

| Request refund | CancelMate drafts a refund request. |
| Cancel on site | Opens the merchant’s own cancel page, when the receipt has one. |
| I cancelled it | Marks it cancelled. |
| Keep | Keeps it and stops reminders about it. |
| Not mine | Removes a charge that isn’t yours. |
The draft
Section titled “The draft”CancelMate writes the draft from the merchant’s own receipt, in the merchant’s language. It includes your account email, the plan and the latest charge, and asks the merchant to confirm in writing.
Check the draft, especially the recipient. Then send it:
- with Send from your connected mailbox, after you allow sending once, or
- by opening it in Gmail, Outlook or your Mail app, or with Copy draft.
Nothing is sent until you press Send.
After you send
Section titled “After you send”The card follows the merchant’s answer: Waiting for confirmation, then Merchant replied (press Read reply), then Cancelled. The merchant’s confirmation is what counts.
App Store and Google Play
Section titled “App Store and Google Play”Subscriptions billed by Apple or Google can only be cancelled in your phone’s store settings. CancelMate tells you so and gives you the link.
